James Goodhue

Board Member
James holds a Bachelor of Construction (Property Development) and brings an extensive and varied background in property development and urban regeneration, with a focus on housing. He is currently Head of Development for Te Āhuru Mōwai, the housing provider for Ngāti Toa Rangatira, where he leads a range of housing and community development projects.
James has worked across the non-profit, private, public, and iwi sectors, giving him a broad understanding of the diverse challenges, perspectives, and drivers that exist across the housing continuum. His previous experience includes roles at CORT Community Housing and Kāinga Ora, and he has contributed to some of Aotearoa’s largest regeneration programmes, including the Tāmaki Regeneration and, more recently, as Associate Project Director in Eastern Porirua.
James joined the Dwell Board with a commitment to supporting the delivery of high-quality, well-designed housing developments that strengthen communities and create long-term social value.
