Patrick, Tony, John, and Paul (not pictured) became Dwell tenants in 2013 when Dwell Housing Trust and Mahora House Inc merged, but have lived together for more than 15 years.

This year they were our tenant survey prize draw winners and used their $50 Pak'nSave voucher for food for their flat’s Christmas celebrations.

The flatmates like the companionship living together brings and prefer this to living alone. Over the years, they have become friends as well as flatmates. The lounge is the social hub of the household where they catch up and watch their favourite TV shows.

“I enjoy the supportive and friendly atmosphere in my home – we look out for each other,” says John.
